LA HABRA, Calif. - To commemorate the first anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the nation, American First Credit Union will donate $500 to the Orange County Burn Association. La Habra Fire Department Captain Bob Lee will be accepting the credit union donation. The Orange County Burn Association works with the UCI Regional Burn Center in providing a burn recovery group for former burn patients, their families and friends. Monthly meetings of the group alternate between educational and social programs. Members share concerns and provide support to new patients. The OCBA also helps educate the residents of Orange County regarding the prevention, severity and treatment of burns.
