<p>WASHINGTON – Callahan & Associates newly released "2002 National Guide to CUSOs and Investment Program Providers" shows more CUSOs are forming innovative, more broad-based relationships than before. The just-published guide features information on the year's major trends involving the 681 CUSOs in the country. It distinguishes between wholly-owned CUSOs and the 135 CUSOs owned by multiple CUs. It also provides case studies on some of them. Among some of the trends cited in the guide are: single state to multi-state organizations; cross-state ownership; and new product offerings. The "National Guide to CUSOs and Investment Program Providers" is published annually. This is the fifth edition.</p>
