BVS now lets CUs define their own online courses

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Credit unions can develop their own Internet-based courses with a new program from BVS Performance Systems. BVS has introduced "Course Maker" and "Test Maker" facilities as additions to the knowledge management (KM) system it provides at www.creditunionlearning.com. The BVS Library already offers more than 100 courses for financial services professionals, covering such subjects as teller training, lending, customer service, security and compliance, sales skills, operations, management and motivation, and product knowledge. Subscribers can customize those courses by adding their own information. The new Course Maker and Test Maker capabilities allow subscribers to custom develop entire courses covering their own policies, products and procedures. The courses can be illustrated with custom graphics or graphics from an extensive image library BVS provides. Tests can be made to measure comprehension of the custom course material or as follow-up exams to other learning assignments, such as seminars, readings and live classes. Test results are available through the BVS Performance Trackerr System, which generates reports on learner performance.
