NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Even though at presstime airports were still closed for flights and there was no word when planes would fly again, NACUSO announced on Sept. 12 that its Fall Leadership Conference planned for Sept. 19-21 in Kapolei, Hawaii was still on. "Many members of our board including myself feel, as many others do, that further disruption in our way of life and business only give a victory to the perpetrators of these shameless acts. As President Bush stated last night, our business will continue, but it will not be business as usual," said NACUSO President Bob Dorsa. NACUSO is revising its cancellation policy regarding conference registration fees, but Dorsa said it can not do anything about other monies lost due to cancellations of other travel arrangements.
