WESCO unveils CUPN

KENTWOOD, Mich. - WESCO, a credit union data processor owned by 50 CUs, has introduced WESCO NET, a Credit Union Private Network (CUPN), to its CUs using its CU*BASE processing solution in either an ASP or self-processing environment. "Imagine the power of a credit union-coordinated network. WESCO NET is not just about technology, it is about linking credit union organizations and creating an environment for creative processes and new opportunities in a collective way," said Randy Karnes, WESCO CEO. "New initiatives constantly struggle with the fact that credit unions still lack a foundation of commonalities of networks, databases, and solution access. WESCO NET will be a catalyst to new credit union initiatives for WESCO clients and partners." WESCO NET uses common Internet standards. -
