In addition, Richard Gaidis has been named the 1999 Outstanding Credit Union Volunteer and Pamela Slater has been named the 1999 Credit Union Professional. Western Division Credit Union, Williamsville, N.Y. has named Deborah Baker vice president of lending. Baltimore Washington Credit Union Direct Lending Cooperative, a joint venture CUSO, has elected the following officers to the board: Mid-Atlantic FCU CEO Charles W. Thomas, chairman; State Employees Credit Union CEO Teresa Halleck, vice chairman; SSAFCU CEO Jack Houseknecht, treasurer; and Arlington Virginia FCU Vice President of Finance Ben Brown, secretary.
