New York State CU League President resigns

ALBANY, N.Y. - Wayne Diesel, president/CEO of the New York State Credit Union League and Affiliates since Dec. 1997, has resigned. According to league sources, Diesel's decision was made for "personal and family reasons." No effective date for Diesel's resignation has been announced. William Merlin, senior vice president/COO of League Affiliate CUC Mortgage Corp. has been appointed interim president.
