FARMERS BRANCH, Texas - E-mail. E-commerce. E-signatures. E-yow! Technology seminars download an abundance of information into people's minds, but attendees often leave with the question, "Now what?" according to Janine McBee, senior training director at the Texas Credit Union League. The Credit Union E-vent, to be presented August 13-15 by Extreme Arts & Sciences, Texas Credit Union League and Colorado Credit Union League, will provide the "now what piece of the puzzle," McBee said. The three day conference, to be held at the Westin Seattle in Seattle, Washington, will focus on bringing CEOs, vice presidents of marketing, operations and lending, CFOs, branch managers, loan officers, researchers, call center managers, Web masters and network administrators what they need to know to turn technological information into real life business plans. Current technology, information technology strategy and technology plans are a few of the topics that will be covered at the conference. "We are anticipating a high synergy environment. We are capping the number of participants at 100, so we can send everyone away with an individual plan," said McBee.
