The $1 billion, South Portland, Maine-based Atlantic Federal Credit Union announced two promotions.

Jonathan Stowers was promoted to COO. Stowers, who has been with Atlantic for over 11 years, previously led the credit union's information technology department. In his new role, he will oversee operations and technology, focusing on the systems, processes and support that help Atlantic operate efficiently and deliver an exceptional member experience.

Chris Perry was promoted to chief lending officer. Perry has spent the past seven years growing Atlantic's commercial lending department, expanding its commercial lending portfolio as well as SBA lending. In his new role, he will oversee the credit union's lending strategy while continuing to lead its commercial lending efforts and support the growth of its mortgage business.

Joshua Buck, network administrator III for the $904 million, Midland, Mich.-based Members First Credit Union, was named the 2026 MCUL & MCUF Young Professional of the Year by the Michigan Credit Union League. This statewide recognition honors outstanding credit union professionals under the age of 35 who are making a meaningful impact by strengthening service, expanding access to financial opportunity and advancing the credit union mission across Michigan. In his position at Members First, Buck plays a key role in ensuring members have secure, reliable access to the digital tools and systems they depend on daily. He also supports young professional development through FUELmi, serves as legislative representative for the Mid-Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions, and contributes to community impact efforts through a role with Children's Miracle Network.

The $1.4 billion, Omaha, Neb.-based Centris Federal Credit Union promoted Kevin Svec to EVP – chief lending officer. In his new role, Svec will continue to provide strategic leadership to further strengthen the business banking division and help execute the organization's strategy to grow its business banking loan and deposit portfolios. Over the past seven years, he has served as SVP of business banking for Centris, playing a key role in driving growth, developing strong member relationship and positioning the credit union as a trusted partner for businesses in the region. He previously served on the Gretna School Board in Gretna, Neb., and currently serves as president of the Gretna Area Development Corporation and as treasurer of the Gretna Days Foundation Board.

The $1.3 billion, Pensacola, Fla.-based Gulf Winds Credit Union hired Jennifer Perez as vice president of marketing. In her new role, Perez joins the senior leadership team and will spearhead short- and long-term marketing strategies, ensure brand consistency, oversee ROI and performance metrics, manage budgets and maintain a high-performing team. Perez brings experience leading strategies in brand visibility, content marketing, digital campaigns and go-to-market execution. Early in her career, she worked at television and radio stations. Later, she stepped into mortgage marketing communications, where she grew into high-level leadership and managed all brand communications.

The $1.2 billion, Austin, Texas-based Amplify Credit Union promoted JC San Pedro to chief lending officer. In his new role, San Pedro will oversee all commercial, mortgage and consumer lending operations, and lead the credit union's lending and loan servicing strategies. He will oversee a lending platform that services loans for 150 investors and includes more than 30 wholesale broker relationships across Texas, expanding Amplify's ability to reach borrowers statewide. San Pedro will also oversee the credit union's commercial, mortgage and consumer lending operations, building on recent gains in production, efficiency and statewide lending partnerships. San Pedro previously served as the SVP of loan administration at Amplify. Before that, he held leadership roles in lending departments at CIT Bank and OneWest Bank. He is a board committee member of ATXGFL.
