As the Minnesota Lynx begin the 2026 season, Wings Credit Union has expanded its partnership with the WNBA team through a new co-branded debit card and charitable giving campaign.

The Apple Valley, Minn.-based credit union said it is launching the first Minnesota Lynx co-branded debit card for Wings members this month. According to Wings, it is also among the first financial institutions to offer a co-branded debit card tied to a WNBA team.

Wings said it is also launching "Hoops for Hunger," a season-long initiative that will donate $20 to The Food Group for every three-pointer made by the Lynx during the 2026 regular season. The Food Group is a Twin Cities nonprofit that works to improve access to nutritious food across the state.

"Wings is proud to support our hometown women's basketball team and invest in the growing momentum behind women's sports," Amy Nigrelli, Wings' chief marketing officer and executive sponsor for the Lynx Changemakers program, said. "Through this partnership, our credit union has a wonderful opportunity to help our members and Lynx fans feel even more connected to the team, while also helping support food access through Hoops for Hunger."

Hoops for Hunger builds on Wings' recent Timberwolves program with Every Meal, which generated $16,545 from every Minnesota Timberwolves regular season three-pointer made to help fight child hunger through school and community partnerships.

"We're thrilled to welcome Wings Credit Union as an official partner of the Minnesota Lynx," Mike Resnick, vice president of partnership marketing for Lynx, said. "Wings has demonstrated a genuine commitment to supporting our community, and initiatives like Hoops for Hunger show how impactful partnerships can be when organizations come together around a shared purpose. We're excited to work alongside Wings to create meaningful connections with fans while helping make a difference across Minnesota."

Wings completed its merger with Ent Credit Union on Jan. 1 and now has almost one million members and approximately $20 billion in assets. The credit union operates dual headquarters in Apple Valley, Minn., and Colorado Springs, Colo.
