The two divisions of the $13 billion, San Jose, Calif.-based First Technology Federal Credit Union, Digital Federal Credit Union and First Tech Federal Credit Union, hired Steven Wright as chief legal officer. In his new role, Wright will lead First Tech's Enterprise Governance & Legal Affairs (EGLA), Government Affairs and Compliance teams. He will also provide legal guidance across the organization, help strengthen partner relationships and support First Tech's commitment to serving its members. Wright has served as lead counsel and strategic advisor for several Fortune 200 companies. Most recently, he was general counsel and chief ethics officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. During his tenure there, Wright also led the institution's Enterprise Services Division, overseeing the Legal department, Real Estate Services Group, Law Enforcement Unit and the former Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The $2.8 billion, Springfield, Ore.-based SELCO Community Credit Union promoted Sean Huntington to vice president of commercial lending for its Commercial & Business Banking division. In his new role, Huntington will lead SELCO's commercial lending team by overseeing day-to-day operations, loan production and team leadership. He will also work closely with the division's Credit and Cash Management teams to support consistent loan performance and maintain strong credit standards. Huntington joined SELCO in September 2013 and has served on the Commercial & Business Banking team ever since. Prior to joining SELCO, he served in various commercial and business banking roles at a Pacific Northwest-based bank from 2007-2013.

The $8.3 billion, East Lansing, Mich.-based MSUFCU announced five promotions and one hire.

Marie Charbonneau was promoted to vice president of branches. Charbonneau joined the credit union in 2020. Her more than 20 years of experience have been rooted in branch operations, with a career dedicated to serving members and supporting the teams who serve them. In her new role, she leads a team of branch managers and partners closely with branches to deliver consistent, high‑quality member service experiences.

Andrew Dietzel was promoted to internal and corporate communications manager. Dietzel joined MSUFCU in 2021 as a teller at the Headquarters Branch and advanced through several leadership roles before being promoted to assistant manager in 2023. In his new role, he manages the Internal and Corporate Communications department, where he develops and oversees a broad portfolio of business communication strategies to ensure clear, consistent messaging aligned with organizational priorities. Collaborating closely with leaders across the credit union, Dietzel also synthesizes information and directs its delivery across both internal and external channels. In addition, he supports the ICC team in producing high‑quality content that accurately reflects MSUFCU's brand and vision.

Jena Gillam was promoted to Headquarters Branch manager. Gillam has 10 years of experience in the financial industry and joined MSUFCU in 2021 as a financial services specialist. She has since advanced to Headquarters Branch manager, previously holding key leadership positions including branch trainer, assistant branch manager and branch manager.

Michele Pease was promoted to Headquarters Branch assistant manager. Pease began her career at MSUFCU in 2017, joining the organization as a financial services representative. She later transitioned through the roles of loan officer and branch lead. In her new role, she supports branch operations, staff development, member engagement and the overall mission of fostering financial empowerment within the MSUFCU community.

Monica Sloan was promoted to vice president of branches. Sloan joined MSUFCU in 2013, and has since supported strategic decisions that enhance the overall member experience and strengthen the branch network. In her new role, she partners closely with leaders across the organization to align strategy with execution, ensuring branches remain adaptable, well‑resourced and member‑focused.

Brittany Price was hired as commercial loan officer for Southeast Michigan. Price brings more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry, having built a strong foundation working across both the credit union and commercial banking sectors. She also brings extensive experience in commercial lending, treasury management, merchant services and portfolio management. In her new role, she focuses on commercial lending and business development, partnering with local businesses to provide strategic financial solutions that support growth and long-term success.
