Krystal Nunn, financial wellness administrator for the $5.2 billion, Philadelphia-based American Heritage Credit Union, was named to the Board of Directors for the New Jersey National Financial Educators Council. The Council aims to provide complimentary resources and personalized financial wellness support throughout the state of New Jersey. Nunn began her career with American Heritage in March 2025 following 14 years of working various corporate roles such as senior financial analyst, project manager and payments advisor within treasury management. In her role with American Heritage, Nunn manages initiatives directly related to financial education and wellness, including multiple monthly webinars, community education for Workplace Partners, the Cecilia B. Grady Scholarship Program and Financial Reality Fairs.

The $8 billion, Enola, Pa.-based Members 1st Federal Credit Union hired Joseph Culos as SVP of retail. Culos brings decades of leadership experience in retail banking and branch operations, having most recently served for 10 years at First Commonwealth Bank, where he led a 750-person division overseeing 127 branches, two call centers, branch operations and corporate learning and development. Prior to that, he held progressive leadership roles during a 17-year career with TD Bank across the United States and Canada. In his new role, Culos will lead and support Members 1st's retail and branch operations teams, helping guide the organization's retail strategy as it enters new markets and continues to strengthen the member experience.

The $4.8 billion, New York, N.Y.-based Municipal Credit Union promoted Peter Neiman to SVP of marketing, effective March 1. Neiman joined MCU in June 2024 as vice president of marketing. He has more than 30 years of experience across agency and client-side leadership roles, having spent the first 20 years of his career in leadership roles at New York advertising agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather, Grey and Bozell. He later served as vice president of brand and advertising at Unum, a Fortune 250 insurance and benefits company, where he spent nine years leading enterprise brand strategy. He subsequently returned to New York as chief marketing officer of Amalgamated Bank.

MIDWEST
The $457 million, Oswego, Ill.-based Earthmover Credit Union promoted Marisa Medgyesi to vice president of marketing and business development at (ECU). Medgyesi joined ECU over 20 years ago as a loan officer before becoming branch manager at the former Sandwich, Ill., location. She then spent nearly a decade as business development manager, cultivating relationships in the community. Most recently, she served as director of marketing and business development, where she managed communication and community building.

SOUTH
The $2.9 billion, Tampa, Fla.-based GTE Financial announced three promotions.
Bea Luzbet was promoted to assistant vice president of consumer lending. Since joining GTE Financial in 2004, Luzbet has held roles of increasing responsibility, including project manager and supervisor. Over more than two decades, she has helped lead major organizational initiatives that strengthened lending operations and enhanced the member experience, earning her promotion to senior manager in 2024.

CD Thornton was promoted to assistant vice president of mortgage sales and service. Thornton joined GTE Financial in April 2013, leading within the Community Financial Center network and building a strong reputation in the downtown and South Tampa market for his expertise in home lending and commitment to integrity-based selling practices. In 2017, he transitioned to the home loans division and was promoted to senior manager in 2024.

Dominique Thompson was promoted to assistant vice president of member loyalty. Thompson began her career with GTE Financial nearly 13 years ago managing the Land O' Lakes Community Financial Center in Lutz, Fla. In 2019, she stepped into a leadership role within the credit union's member satisfaction program, expanding survey efforts, increasing completion rates and strengthening the accuracy and integrity of member insights and performance metrics. Since 2021, she has taken on expanded marketing leadership responsibilities. In her new role, Thompson will focus on deepening member engagement, advancing data-driven strategy and strengthening long-term relationships that fuel sustainable growth for the credit union and the communities it serves.
