Mike Boden has been named president/CEO of the $3.6 billion OneAZ Credit Union in Phoenix, the board of directors announced Tuesday.
He succeeds Brandon Michaels who resigned as CEO in June 2025 and is currently training to become a commercial pilot while pursuing opportunities in the financial services industry, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Boden was hired by OneAZ in 2014 as its controller. In 2019, he was promoted to the positions of CFO and COO until he was named EVP in 2022. Before joining the credit union, he held several executive positions at American Express.

"Mike is the right leader to serve OneAZ in the next chapter,” OneAZ Board Chair Georganna Meyer said. “He’s exemplified a strong, future-forward mindset and a deep respect for the values that OneAZ holds dear. For the past 10 years at OneAZ, Mike has earned the trust and support of OneAZ’s associates and the community. The board of directors is confident in his ability to serve our members and strengthen our community.”
Boden said he was humbled and honored to be OneAZ’s CEO.
“My personal commitment is to lead with integrity, reinforce our values and purpose, and to always put people – our associates and members – at the heart of every decision,” he said.
OneAZ’s 519 employees operate 23 locations and serve more than 215,000 members.
