Two credit unions have secured naming rights in their communities, with one partnering with a major outdoor music venue and another attaching its name to a local sports field, hoping to expand their visibility through the branding agreements.
In Charlotte, N.C., Truliant Federal Credit Union has obtained naming rights to one of the city’s outdoor music venues, formerly named PNC Music Pavilion, which is being rebranded as Truliant Amphitheater. The 20,000-capacity venue hosts more than 45 shows annually.
“There’s nothing like great live music to bring people together, and our partnership with this iconic amphitheater will broaden Truliant’s reach among concertgoers to show even more people that credit union benefits are accessible to them,” Todd Hall, president/CEO of Truliant, said in a prepared statement.
Truliant serves more than 334,000 members. The credit union’s leadership said they expect the partnership to significantly expand Truliant’s visibility among concertgoers. The partnership also brings Truliant’s “community-first mission” into a new cultural arena, officials said. Through the Truliant Foundation, which supports local nonprofits, schools and financial education programs, the credit union invests in the communities it serves. It plans to extend those efforts at the venue where fans will come together.
“We’re ready to be onsite to foster connections, create memorable experiences and benefit our members through exclusive perks,” Hall said. Truliant Amphitheater will kick off its first full concert season in April 2026.
Based in Winston-Salem, N.C., Truliant was chartered in 1952 and serves more than 334,000 members.
In Greenville, Tenn., Eastman Credit Union also announced its new naming rights to an organization in its community.
Eastman and the Greenville Flyboys have agreed to a five-year field naming rights partnership alongside Tusculum University.
Starting with the 2026 season, the Flyboys and Tusculum baseball’s home field will be named Eastman Credit Union Field, while the ballpark itself will remain Pioneer Park. The change came after five years of the Greeneville Flyboys calling Pioneer Park home since their inaugural season in 2021.
“We are proud to sponsor the Greeneville Flyboys Stadium, a place that brings our community together and creates lasting memories for families and fans alike,” ECU President/CEO Kelly Price said in a prepared statement. “This partnership reflects our deep commitment to Greene County and our belief in fostering opportunities that strengthen community spirit while supporting local economic growth.”
Eastman is a not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Kingsport, Tenn. with over 30 locations in Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. It has more than 350,000 members.
