The $6.1 billion, Madison, Wis.-based UW Credit Union announced two board appointments.

Vicki Bernards was appointed to the Board of Directors. Bernards is a corporate finance and strategy leader at Wisconsin Physicians Service Corporation.

Roberta (Robbie) Oldenburg was appointed to the Board of Directors. Oldenburg is director of business development, science and technology at Findorff.

The $3.1 billion, Muskego, Wis.-based Corporate Central Credit Union announced two promotions.

Sierra Randall was promoted to member experience specialist. Randall joined Corporate Central in 2020 and brings extensive experience in member services, including previous work at Brewery Credit Union ($60.2 million, Milwaukee, Wis.). She recently earned her Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor designation, as well as completed The Wisconsin Credit Union League’s Leadership Institute and earned the Certified Wisconsin Credit Union Leader designation.

Alexis Dohm was also promoted to member experience specialist. Dohm, a 2024 addition to Corporate Central, brings a strong foundation in customer service that began at age 14. She most recently served as a client services representative at an emergency veterinary hospital and earned her CCUFC designation this year.

In their new roles, Randall and Dohm will be instrumental in shaping how members interact with Corporate Central, addressing complex needs and leading initiatives that elevate every aspect of the member journey.

Member Access Processing (MAP), a provider of a Visa DPS debit, credit, ATM and digital payment processing platform to credit unions nationwide, promoted Chief Implementation Officer Tim Bornemeier to COO. Bornemeier has more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in operations, delivery and payments. In his new role, he will partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive performance, scalability and innovation across all areas of the organization, as MAP continues to support the complex needs of credit unions in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.

The St. Petersburg, Fla.-based payments CUSO Velera appointed Todd Lane, president/CEO of the $3.3 billion, San Diego-based California Coast Credit Union, as a member of its Board of Directors. He has served as an associate board member since 2021. Lane replaces former Velera board member and previous president/CEO of Wings Credit Union ($9.4 billion, Apple Valley, Minn.) Frank Weidner. Weidner served on the Board of Directors for over 10 years, including terms as vice chair and chair during the PSCU/Co-op Solutions combination. He will conclude his 14-year tenure as president/CEO of Wings at the end of 2025.

Stephen Nelson

The Boards of Directors for Fuel Solutions, California’s Credit Unions, Nevada’s Credit Unions and Utah’s Credit Unions appointed Stephen Nelson executive director of Fuel Solutions. Nelson most recently served as EVP and chief advocacy operations officer for California’s, Nevada’s and Utah’s Credit Unions. In his new role, he will lead Fuel Solutions as it continues to expand its mission of delivering innovative, value driven solutions that support credit unions and strengthen the cooperative system. Nelson’s connection to the credit union movement spans more than two decades. He previously worked with Utah’s Credit Unions beginning in 2000 before joining California’s and Nevada’s Credit Unions.

The Dallas, Texas-based financial advisory services firm ALM First announced a promotion and a role change.

Ryan Sherwin was promoted to principal. Sherwin joined the firm in 2014 and has over 15 years of industry experience. He will continue to oversee the firm’s sales team in his new role.

Current Chief Investment Officer Jason Haley was named president of ALM First Financial Advisors, LLC, the firm’s SEC-registered investment adviser (RIA) subsidiary. Haley joined ALM First in 2008 and was promoted to chief investment officer in 2020. In his additional role as president of ALM First’s RIA, he will continue to lead the Investment Management Group, which is responsible for investment theme development and portfolio management services for the firm.
