The NCUA is inviting applications for more than $3.4 million in Community Development Revolving Loan Fund (CDRLF) grants, available to low-income designated credit unions through Dec. 16, 2025.
To help applicants, the NCUA released a pre-recorded webinar explaining the 2025 grant application process. The session is available on the agency’s YouTube channel and Learning Management System, alongside detailed grant guidelines and FAQs.
The NCUA also announced a new multi-factor authentication system for its CyberGrants Portal, designed to enhance data security and protect against unauthorized access. Applicants are encouraged to start early to ensure adequate time for technical troubleshooting.
Eligible credit unions must maintain an active registration with SAM.gov, the federal System for Award Management, before applying. The NCUA warned that registration or renewal can take several weeks, advising credit unions to begin the process as soon as possible.
The grants aim to strengthen credit unions serving underserved and economically challenged communities.
