Justin Morris has been appointed president/CEO of the $270 million Service One Credit Union in Bowling Green, Ky.

He succeeded CEO Rebecca Stone, who is retiring in January. She is serving as strategic leadership advisor through the transition period.
Morris joined Service One in 2005 as a part-time teller while he was attending Western Kentucky University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a minor in finance, followed by a Master of Business Administration.

Over the years, he has served in leadership roles in operations, accounting, and risk management.

“On behalf of the board of directors, we are confident that Justin is the right leader for this next chapter at Service One,” Service One Board Chair J. Pat Stewart said. “His dedication to our mission, his proven leadership, and his vision for sustainable growth and community impact will serve our members well.”

Service One’s 68 employees operate six locations and serve more than 17,000 members.

Ron Knight was named president/CEO of the $121 million Prestige Community Credit Union in Dallas, Texas, last month.

He succeeded Sammy Shanafelt, who began his retirement on Oct. 10, after 19 years of service, the credit union said.

Knight has worked in the credit union industry for more than 23 years and joined Prestige Community CU in 2008 as director of marketing and business development. Before he was appointed CEO, Knight served as senior vice president of marketing & operations.

“Ron has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of our credit union’s values and operations,” Prestige Community CU Board Chair Jason Mauldin, said. “The board is confident that he is the right person to lead us into the future and to continue the strong momentum built under Sammy’s leadership.”

Prestige Community CU’s 27 employee run two locations and serve more than 8,000 members.

Angela Hill was named president/CEO of the $158 million Kerr County Federal Credit Union in Kerrsville, Texas.

She succeeded Sandy Lumbley who has retired after 26 years of service.

Hill joined the credit union in 1995 and has served in various leadership positions.

Kerr County FCU’s 48 employees operate four locations and serve 13,781 members.
