The $2.1 billion, San Jose, Calif.-based Meriwest Credit Union hired Helen Grays-Jones as the inaugural executive director of its newly-established nonprofit, the Meriwest Community Foundation. Grays-Jones brings over 30 years of leadership experience in banking, financial services and community engagement. She has been honored with distinctions such as induction into the Black Legends Hall of Fame, the MLK Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award, Volunteer of the Year from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and inclusion in the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Power 100. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Bill Wilson Center and the SEMI Foundation, with past service on the Board of Directors for Mission City Community Fund and Project Hired. In her new role, Grays-Jones will shape the Foundation’s strategic vision, expand its programs and strengthen collaborations with local organizations.
EAST

The $2.2 billion, Lowell, Mass.-based Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union announced two new hires.
Brian Collins was hired as SVP and COO. He brings over 25 years of industry experience, with expertise in digital, payments, fintech, workplace innovation, and optimizing the member and customer experience. Collins previously held various senior leadership positions at Enterprise Bank & Trust Company, including EVP and COO. He serves on the Advisory Board for the Greater Lowell Salvation Army, where he is also an active member of the Executive Committee and holds the position of treasurer. Collins earned an MBA in strategy and business analysis from Boston University and completed the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

MIDWEST
The $2.5 billion, Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Consumers Credit Union announced two new hires and one promotion.
Eric Stoll was hired as vice president of business services. Stoll rejoins the credit union in anticipation of the upcoming retirement of Gary Ferguson, who has led the business services team for 13 years. Stoll brings 28 years of banking experience, including 23 years in commercial banking, and returns to Consumers after having worked with the credit union earlier in his career. He has extensive background in commercial underwriting and lending, combined with over a decade of leadership experience. In his new role, Stoll will focus on growing business loans and deposits, expanding cash management products and services, and managing risk to support the credit union’s long-term financial goals.

Jodi Rozycki was hired as municipal relationship manager. Rozycki brings a background in banking, nonprofit engagement and wellness coaching. She began her career in the financial industry, spending six years advancing from teller to retail branch manager, and later working in mortgage lending. In her new role, she will draw on her diverse experience to promote Consumers’ financial solutions and build strong relationships with municipalities.

Adalynn Brouwer was promoted to office manager of the Woods Lake location in Kalamazoo. Brouwer has been with Consumers for seven years. She began her journey at the Milham office in Portage, Mich., as a teller and has steadily advanced through roles including member service representative and assistant manager.

SOUTH

The $5 billion, Orlando, Fla.-based FAIRWINDS Credit Union promoted Adrian Kierulf-Velez to vice president, external affairs and philanthropy. In addition, Kierulf-Velez has been appointed executive director of the FAIRWINDS Foundation, the credit union’s philanthropic arm and a registered 501(c)(3) organization. In his expanded role, Kierulf-Velez will lead FAIRWINDS’ community relations, government affairs and philanthropic strategies. As executive director of the FAIRWINDS Foundation, he will spearhead financial literacy initiatives that empower individuals and communities to thrive. Kierulf-Velez joined FAIRWINDS in 2023 and most recently served as community relations manager. He has more than a decade of experience in community engagement and public affairs, having worked across the private, public and nonprofit sectors. He serves on the boards of the Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund and the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, and is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Metro Orlando’s Business Advocacy Committee. He was appointed by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to the Mayor’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission and is a graduate of Leadership Seminole Class 33. In 2024, he was recognized as one of Orlando Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 for his leadership and impact in the community.

She will foster seamless engagement, strengthen partnerships, and spark new opportunities for innovation and collaboration to benefit CUES members and their partners. Hrubes has more than 20 years of experience driving strategy, member engagement and industry collaboration. She is a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) and graduate of the CUES CEO Institute.
