Truliant Federal Credit Union opened its regional office in this building in downtown Charlotte in September.
Truliant Federal Credit Union officially opened its regional office in September in an eight-story building in Charlotte, 80 miles southwest of its Winston-Salem headquarters.
Truliant ($5.1 billion in assets, 336,824 members) announced Feb. 7 that it had signed a lease for the office in the SouthPark area. It occupies the third floor, which covers 16,700 square feet of the eight-story building. It also acquired naming rights and now had its logo across both sides of the building.
Truliant opened its first branch in Charlotte in 1987, and it now has 10 of its 40 offices in Charlotte or elsewhere in Mecklenburg County. The banking center is also the workplace for about 100 of its 930 employees.
Its Sept. 26 news release said the SouthPark office will serve as a base for commercial lending, key leaders and regional executives.
“Our new office represents Truliant’s longstanding commitment to the Charlotte area. It allows us to increase our presence in the region significantly,” President/CEO Todd Hall said. “It will be used to strengthen connections and grow partnerships, and better align ourselves with the interests of the community.”
NCUA data showed Truliant added three branches and other locations in the 12 months ending June 30.
