Neighbors selected Caraccioli, who has served as CFO since 2008, in partnership with Pinnacle Executive Recruiting. During his CFO tenure, Caraccioli has led the organization through significant periods of growth and financial stability, successfully securing $35 million in Emergency Capital Investment Program (ECIP) funding and an additional $8 million in secondary capital, strengthening Neighbors’ net worth ratio and positioning the credit union for long-term success, the credit union said.

“It is a tremendous honor to be selected as the next CEO of Neighbors Federal Credit Union,” Caraccioli said. “I am grateful for the trust placed in me by the Board and our members. Neighbors has a long legacy of making a difference in the lives of the people and communities we serve, and I am excited to build on that foundation by driving sustainable growth, innovation and member value. Together with our dedicated team, we will ensure Neighbors remains strong and positioned for long-term success.”

Caraccioli has more than two decades of executive leadership experience in the credit union industry. Prior to joining Neighbors, he served as CFO of KeyPoint Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge. He also held senior operational roles with KKR, American Golf Corporation and Arnold Palmer Golf Management, where he gained extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions and managing large-scale operations.

He currently serves as chairman of the Supervisory Committee and as an ERM committee member at Catalyst Corporate Credit Union ($5.7 billion, Plano, Texas). What’s more, he serves as chair of Neighbors’ Asset Liability Committee and as a member of its Business Lending Committee. Caraccioli holds an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University and completed advanced training at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
