New credit union CEO announced.

The Police Federal Credit Union in Upper Marlboro, Md., announced Tuesday the appointment of Norman Mann II as its new president/CEO.

Mann succeeds current President/CEO Danny Gregg who is retiring after 24 years of service. Under his leadership, the credit union grew from $48 million to $145 million in assets, 7,638 to 11,657 in members and eight to 39 full-time staff members.

With more than three decades of credit union experience, Mann joined Police FCU in October 2007, most recently serving as CFO. He previously worked at the $2.5 billion NASA Federal Credit Union also based in Upper Marlboro, and the $798 million Justice Federal Credit Union in Chantilly, Va.

Mann is board chair of the DC Chapter of the Maryland-District of Columbia Credit Union Association.

"Danny Gregg has positioned the credit union well for continued growth and a prosperous future, and my mission is to lead the organization to even greater things," Mann said.
