AUSTIN, Texas — Shari Storm of 6th Story shared with CU Water Cooler Symposium attendees Thursday that being a better boss has roots in fun.
“People will do what they like first, best, and most. It's what's fun that gets done,” Storm said. “People will not do what they don't like doing very well for very long.”
She advised credit union executives to identify the things that employees like doing and do well by asking them, be more empathetic to people's natural tendencies and to create opportunites to celebrate beyond just successes.
Watch Storm in the videos posted above share a few insights on how to play to strengths and get buy-in.
