Seven-year-old Makhyla Johnson became a winner just by saving. The Baytown, Texas, branch member won the $25 Money Tree prize in the Youth Saving Challenge put on this summer by the $2.1 billion TDECU. Makhyla and all the other participants received one entry for every $5 deposited into their youth accounts, and the winner was chosen by drawing.
