The $1.1 billion California Credit Union in Glendale, Calif., has named the Mark Lovewell as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Lovewell brings more than 27 years of commercial and consumer banking experience to the Los Angeles credit union, including stints as principal at MJL Capital Advisors and senior vice president/chief financial officer for Stanford Credit Union, his new employer said.
Lovewell is a member of the California Certified Public Accountants Society and has served as a CFO task force member for the California & Nevada Credit Union League.
He earned a bachelor's of science degree in finance and economics from Columbus University and an MBA from Heritt-Watt University, California CU said.
Former CFO Donald Pistulka has retired, the credit union said.
