DuPont Community Credit Union, Waynesboro, Va., announced that marketing specialist for research, Connie Milionta, recently completed the principles of marketing research certification from the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education and the Marketing Research Institute International. The principles of marketing research is a program managed and delivered by the university.
Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union, Lowell, Mass., has announced that Kathryn Dame has been promoted to vice president-branch administration. Dame has worked at Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union for 17 years in many different capacities from teller, to corporate training to her current role as branch administrator, where she oversees the six branch offices of the credit union. She is a graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. in education. Anne-Marie Bisson has been promoted to vice president-financial education. Bisson has worked at Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union for twenty-two years and oversees the credit union's high-school branches as well as all aspects of the credit union's financial education efforts.
MIDWEST
Alliance Credit Union, St. Louis, announced that former Health Care Family Credit Union President Tim Stephens has joined Alliance Credit Union as executive vice president, reporting to President/CEO Dennis Sommer. In early 2012, Sommer announced his intention to retire in 2013 after 28 years of leading Alliance. Stephens entered the St. Louis credit union scene when he joined First Missouri Credit Union in 1991, eventually rising to the position of vice president-operations. He left First Missouri for Health Care Family in 1998 and took that operation from $15 million in assets to $51 million during his tenure.
First Community Credit Union, Chesterfield, Mo., has announced that Sharon Hudson is retiring after 21 years with the credit union. Hudson spent her early career in banking and came to First Community in 1991 as branch coordinator. She was subsequently promoted to vice president of retail and retires as senior vice president of operations. When Hudson came to First Community there were only three retail branches and a number of satellite locations. Currently First Community has 37 locations and is now the largest credit union in Missouri.
Royal Credit Union, Eau Claire, Wis., announced that Jan Johnson is the new executive vice president of organizational agility. She will oversee human resources, employee development and technical writing. Johnson started her career with IBM, and has spent over 15 years in senior level human resource positions with various organizations. She has a B.S. in journalism, an M.S. in organizational management and human resource development and holds a senior professional in human resources certification. Additionally, RCU has named Nicole Wilson employee services manager.

BrightStar Credit Union, Sunrise, Fla., has named credit union executive Michale Molaka as vice president of operations. Molaka has experience in branch operations, business development, customer service, mortgage and consumer lending. Previously, he held the position of assistant vice president II/branch manager with CFE Federal Credit Union in Lake Mary, Fla. At CFE Federal Credit Union, he worked in all departments of the organization. Molaka is currently a member of the Cooperative Trust Association. He is currently enrolled as a master's in business administration candidate at the University of Florida. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
ORNL Federal Credit Union, Oak Ridge, Tenn., has announced that Paul Morris has been appointed vice president of information technology. Morris's responsibilities include evaluating new technology and technology applications, establishing and implementing information systems security policies and procedures, managing technology resources and contributing to the strategic management of the credit union through technological management. Morris will manage all aspects of technology for ORNL Federal Credit Union. Morris most recently served as senior vice president and chief information officer of Bay Federal Credit Union in Capitola, Calif.

Security Service Federal Credit Union, El Paso, Texas, recently announced that Armida Vargas has been promoted to service center manager at the Franklin Service Center in El Paso, Texas. In her new position, Vargas will be responsible for overseeing the general operations of the Franklin location. She will also be responsible for meeting the service center goals as well as promoting and marketing SSFCU products and services. Vargas has been employed with SSFCU since 2009, starting as a senior member service representative and later promoted to a member contact center supervisor in 2011. Vargas has more than 15 years of experience in member service. She previously worked for West Texas Credit Union before it was acquired by SSFCU in 2009. Vargas is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Security Service Federal Credit Union, San Antonio, Texas, has announced the promotion of Greg MacMillin to vice president of risk management for Security Service Federal Credit Union. MacMillin joined Security Service as an assistant vice president of risk management in 2006. In his new position, he will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies for compliance, fraud, loan review, operations, records management and security. Prior to joining Security Service, MacMillin worked for MBNA America in Wilmington, Del., where he held several management positions including assistant vice president for information security. He attended Rutgers University where he earned a degree in accounting.
