The $71 million Members Federal Credit Union in Aurora, Colo., has signed up to offer its 8,000 members the ability to sign loan documents by Internet or smart phone.
Members FCU said the service from Seattle-based DocuSign will enable the credit union to better serve its members, especially in rural areas. The credit union's FOM includes the city of Aurora and the state's regional rural electric associations.
"By using DocuSign, we will be able to expedite the loan process for our remote members," said Curtis Gardner, vice president of member services.
DocuSign said it now has more than 150 credit unions among its 20,000 customers.
