More than 180 people and 25 credit unions participated in uMonitor's recent two-day virtual conference for users of its account opening and funding and other solutions, the Memphis, Tenn., company said.
Attendance for the second-annual uShare event was 72% higher than last year, the company said. This year's conference included interactive presentations from industry leaders such as Open Solutions Chairman/CEO Louis Hernandez Jr. and Butch Leonardson, senior vice president and chief information officer at $9 billion BECU in Seattle.
Other presenters were from $5.2 billion Star One Credit Union of Sunnyvale, Calif., and $1.5 billion Sandia Laboratory FCU of Albuquerque, N.M., as well as from uMonitor partners T8Webware, Next IT, William Mills Agency, Experian and TransUnion, the company said.
Topics included advances in person-to-person and account-to-account payments, money transfers, multi-channel integration, online account opening and social media and marketing.
Memphis-based uShare serves about 125 financial institutions, about half of them credit unions.
