Looking to better define its membership, Tropicana Federal Credit Union is the latest credit union to change its name.
Effective June 1, the Bradenton, Fla.-based credit union will be known as Manatee Community Federal Credit Union.
According to CEO Billy Woods, the move is designed to better reflect the credit union's position in the community and the diverse group of members served.
