Local Government Federal Credit Union has unveiled a unique way to help serve North Carolina's local government.
The credit union has launched NewsWorks (www.lgfcunewsworks.org), to help government staffers improve communication and meet their newsletter deadlines.
Created as a one-stop resource, the NewsWorks site provides everything from coverage of current financial events and question-and-answer articles penned by LGFCU's financial experts, to easy-to-use templates, free artwork and photography and tips on writing and design.
According to LGFCU President Maurice Smith, creating the site further reinforces the credit union's commitment to being a real local government partner that can not only offer financial services but also help make their jobs easier and their communities and workplaces better.
