TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The recent announcement that Cardtronics will make 5,500 ATMs in 7-Eleven stores part of the Allpoint Network's surcharge-free ATM network takes Credit Union 24 to over 50,000 surcharge free ATMs.

Allpoint is a subsidiary of Cardtronics, which is the largest independent service organization deploying ATMs. Credit Union 24 has offered Allpoint membership to member credit unions participating in its CU Here premium surcharge-free ATM program since February 2008.

"We are very pleased top see our surcharge free ATM footprint grow to more that 50,000 locations," remarked Jim Park, Credit Union 24′s president/CEO. "It's a huge number and a great benefit that will help drive consumers to credit union membership."

Meanwhile, the network has added another big credit union. The $2.7 billion United Nations Federal Credit Union has joined Credit Union 24′s CU Here surcharge-free ATM program, the network said.

"UNFCU wanted to bring additional value to its members and CU24′s programs provided a solution," said Park. "UNFCU members, particularly those who work near the United Nations complex in New York, will benefit in particular."
