BREA, Calif. — Evangelical Christian Credit Union has transformed its Web site (www.eccu.org) into a relationship-based resource for ministries.

Its intentions are clearly stated: more than just providing an informational portal, ECCU wants to be "your ministry banking resource." In addition to financial services information and tools, the site offers white papers, resource events, case studies and more all designed to support, educate and encourage ministries.

"The site is all about ministries–their needs, their passion, and increasing their effectiveness. Everything we bring to the table is for them. In fact, they are ECCU," said ECCU Communications/Public Relations Manager Jac La Tour.

The redesigned Web site also offers easy navigation and includes video features that showcase real stories of effective ministry and how ordinary people are doing extraordinary things.

"Our desire is to offer comprehensive solutions that meet those needs, and the Web site focuses on those solutions," said La Tour. "That's why the starting point is always a ministry's story. Once we understand their mission and vision, then we can start talking about solutions. By focusing on relationships we have with other ministries, the Web site gets them thinking about how all these resources could actually fit together to meet their unique needs."
