REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Provident Credit Union will soon be running its online banking on a platform from Online Resources Corp.

The $1.6 billion CU will be using the Virginia-based company's Architect Internet banking solution as an in-house solution, as well as its bill pay, ACH, account opening, online lending and business banking services and its MoneyHQ personal financial management solution.

E-statements, check imaging, remote deposit capture and electronic statements also are included, according to Online Resources (www.orcc.com).

The conversion is expected to take place in mid-2008, the company and credit union said.

Provident currently is using the Corillian online banking solution, according to the 2007 Credit Union Technology Survey from Callahan & Associates.

"With its scale, flexibility and focus, Online Resources' full spectrum of solutions meet our wide-ranging needs and provide us with a high degree of control and flexibility," said Connie Finch, vice president of information technology for 96,000-member Provident CU (www.providentcu.com). "We look forward to working with them as the single point of accountability for our Internet channel."
