MALVERN, Pa. — Akcelerant Software LLC and CU Recovery Inc. are offering credit unions an integrated combination of the companies' delinquent account management tools.
The "preferred partner" agreement makes CU Recovery of Wyoming, Minn., a distributor of the Akcelerant Framework business process suite and offers financial institutions an integrated, streamlined connector for placing and managing charge-off accounts, the companies said.
"We look forward to working with their customers to simplify and improve the process of maximizing recoveries from charge-off loans," said Kelly Becker, president and CEO of CU Recovery, which has collected more than $83 million in more than 6,500 repossessions for credit union clients since 1990.
"We believe as the economy continues to stagnate and charge-offs continue to rise, a solution like this is what the industry needs," said Jay Mossman, president and CEO of Malvern-based Akcelerant, which serves more than 200 credit unions and banks in 44 states.
