SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — For his 25 years of leadership, Larry Sharp was recently honored for his service at Arrowhead Credit Union.

Hundreds of employees, local dignitaries and members of Sharp's family attended the celebration ceremony, which included a video tribute with dozens of personal messages to Sharp along with images showing the achievements he has made at Arrowhead throughout the last quarter century.

When Sharp started at Arrowhead, there were 27,000 members, $50 million in assets, 77 employees and six branches. Today membership is at more than 168,000 with nearly $1.1 billion in assets, 590 employees and 26 branches.

Arrowhead's board presented Sharp with a Waterford crystal lamp which Board Chairman Maria Alonzo described as "a symbolic representation of the bright path that Larry Sharp has forged for Arrowhead Credit Union and a beacon of light for the future of Arrowhead Credit Union."

Ten other Arrowhead employees were also honored during the celebration.
