SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Sunmark Federal Credit Union is doing its part to make the roads safer.
The credit union has rolled out a defensive driving program for its members.
As part of the program, Sunmark's Insurance Services division will provide the American Safety Council's New York State Department of Motor Vehicles approved six-hour defensive driving course. Successful completion of the course provides members with a 10% reduction, for three years, in the base rate of their current automobile liability, no-fault and collision premiums.
The program also serves to increase safety for its members and the overall community.
