LONG BEACH, Miss — Triton, the ATM manufacturer that is headquartered close to the Gulf Coast and had to close its doors for a time in the wake of Hurricane Katrinia, had commemorated the second anniversary of recovery from the storm with an ATM donation.

The ATM manufacturer donated a new ATM to the $1.5 billion Keesler Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Biloxi, Mississippi. Keesler and its whole community had been among the areas most damaged by Katrina.

Keesler FCU, which Triton employees are eligible to join, is the largest credit union in the state with more than 185,000 members and 13 branches in South Mississippi. The donated unit, an FT7000, went into production last month and is Triton's first full-function, through-the-wall ATM designed for financial institutions.

"Because the Mississippi Gulf Coast is our home, we understand first hand the hardships that the people and businesses of this region have suffered since Katrina," said Triton President Brian Kett. "We are proud to be a part of the rebuilding of the Gulf Coast."
