DALLAS — Effective Sept. 1, City Credit Union and Dallas Area Rapid Transit Federal Credit Union will become one.

The $179 million City CU serves 32,000 members. The $3.6 million DART FCU was originally chartered in 1939 to serve the Dallas Transit System and currently serves more than 1,230 members.

City CU has ten branches throughout the Dallas-Forth Worth area. The CU will retain its name.
