WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Members United is adding merchant and ATM image capture capabilities to the imaging solutions the corporate is offering its 2,100 credit union clients.
The new offerings will be added to the image and branch capture solutions the $13.5 billion corporate began offering in 2005 using the VSoft Corp. suite of solutions.
The ATM solution interfaces with any image-based ATM and allows end users to deposit checks directly into the machine. The Merchant Capture solution allows Members United's credit unions to provide their business members the ability to remotely capture and electronically send deposits using a scanner and online account.
"By implementing VSoft's ATM and Merchant Capture, Members United will offer an end-to-end remote capture solution to its member credit unions, allowing them to capture images at their branches, merchant locations and ATMs," said Murthy Veeraghanta, president of Atlanta-based VSoft.
The Branch Capture solution already is live in 250 branches with 150 more in the queue for this year, Members United said.
"Branch Capture allows our member credit unions to increase efficiencies by eliminating microfilm, encoding and courier costs. These efficiencies spurred us to turn to VSoft again for its ATM and Merchant Capture solutions," said Terry Faurote, the corporate's vice president of item processing.
