NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Governor Jennifer M. Granholm has appointed Michigan Credit Union League Executive Vice President of Association Services Patrick La Pine to the Ferris State University Board of Control.
Duties of the Board of Control include general supervision and management of the University and direction of expenditures from the University's funds.
La Pine has been appointed to sit on the board through 2014. La Pine served as director of governmental affairs and vice president of governmental affairs for MCUL before his promotion to his current position in 2006.
He has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Michigan State University and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Michigan.
