WASHINGTON — The Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run and the events surrounding it are fast approaching.
The main event will take place Sunday, April 1.
However, leading up to that will be an arts and crafts event with the young patients at the National Children's Medical Center in Washington, D.C., a Children's Miracle Network hospital. After that, a press conference is scheduled to raise awareness for much-needed funds for CMN. The silent auction and gala will take place Friday evening.
Additionally, Saturday will feature a luncheon cruise on the Potomac River.
Last year, credit unions raised $530,000 for CMN through these events. Credit Union Miracle Day, Inc. has now set a goal of $1 million.
