According to a recent study conducted by International Communications Research on behalf of CUNA, one in three U.S. adults (32%) is a member of a credit union. Credit unions record their highest member penetration levels within the 35 to 64 age groups and their weakest in those 18 to 34. With 18 to 29 year olds, 49 million young adults according to U.S. Census estimates, embarking on their financial lifecycles, they play an important role in credit unions' present and future success.
