MADISON, Wis. — CUNA is offering a new online series for lending professionals to study a number of business loan applications for different businesses and using the latest creditworthiness analysis tools.

The new BUSINESS LENDING ePRACTICUM SERIES targets loan officers with a few years of experience under their belts in analyzing business credits. Participants start off with the completed loan applications and other relevant documents, while instructors walk them through the specific tasks for each assignment.

Session dates and case study topics include:

Oct. 23 — Small service business/sole proprietorship case study

Oct. 30 — Small retailer/sole proprietor case study

Nov. 6 — Small manufacturer case study

Nov. 13 — Retail operation/S-corporation case study

Dec. 4 — Fast growing business case study

Dec. 18 — Start-up business case study

These series offers live, real time instruction from industry experts via the Internet and a teleconference.
