RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – CU Direct has received the Best Business Practice Award from Harland Education Service for its CUDL University online training and educational program.
The award was presented to CUDL in recognition of the CUSO's efforts in improving client education through the CUDL University program. Introduced in June 2005, the CUDL University program offers CUs a range of educational computer-based tutorials and customized courses on topics such as back office processing, collection strategies, buy rate, profitability and risk management. The CUDL University program also provides CUs with a variety of core classes that are organized around 19 "schools" such as CU Difference and Sales & Service, covering more than 125 industry-oriented courses. Harland Educational Services' Tommy Balas, vice president and general manager said, "CUDL University is a great example of how traditional and eLearning education programs can be blended to provide leading edge employees and member education."
