ATLANTA – Delta Community Credit Union recently received approval to expand its field of membership to two area counties here. The $2.5 billion CU can now serve residents of Fayette and Henry counties here. It is also going forward with its goal of building more branches, having just opened a full-service center in Fayetteville Jan. 26. Another branch in Peachtree City is slated to open later this year. Two more branches are currently under construction in Henry County and are scheduled to open in late spring, according to the CU. The new credit union branches will have the latest automation available, said Becky Davis, vice president of branch operations. "With the automated system we're employing, transactions will be able to be handled with greater efficiency and speed, yet the technology will enable our Member Service Representatives to give members greater one-on-one service," Davis said. Staffing at the new branches was critical to serving members as quickly and conveniently possible, echoed Debbie Adan, senior vice president, human resources and office operations. "Our goal in creating and staffing these community branches is to bring our members fast, convenient service in a friendly, welcoming environment. Adan said Members will benefit from this dynamic new service delivery." The CU currently has five branch offices in metro Atlanta, and additional locations in several other states. Delta Community CU changed its name and charter last October. It serves more than 161,000 members.
