MADISON, Wis. – The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council is looking for a few best practices award entries. The awards recognize outstanding new marketing and business development approaches with potential for universal application across the credit union movement. Winners will be selected, without regard to credit union asset size, in the following categories: * Business Development – Beyond normal activities, this category details how the credit union further developed the relationship between itself and sponsor company(s), their employees, or the community it serves. * Credit Union Name Change/Identity/Branding – This category explains how the credit union successfully positioned itself and increased awareness through the creation of a new (or updated an existing) name or image. * Public/Community Relations – Submissions should describe the credit union's public/community relations strategy and subsequent results as they relate to coordinated activities, events, campaigns, relationships, awareness and cooperative efforts. Award recipients must be present at the 13th annual CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference March 15-18, 2006, in Orlando, Florida, to deliver a 10-15 minute PowerPoint presentation about their winning entries. Award winners in each category will also receive a $300 honorarium. Entry materials must be received by Jan. 6, 2006.
