ST. LOUIS – In related news, Missouri CU Association President/CEO Rosie Holub recently wrote to Sen. Kit Bond (R-Mo.) asking him to support restoring funding to the SBA's 7(a) loan program to offset fees paid by borrowers and lenders. There are more than 250 credit union 7(a) lenders, according to the SBA. Holub said increased funding is critical now given the scarcity of jobs and the growing interest in small business start-ups and expansions.
