PORTLAND, Ore. – CU Business Group, the business lending CUSO owned by eight corporate CUs, recently passed some milestones. It has celebrated its third anniversary and has underwritten over $300 million in loans. "We are working with 145 credit unions now (in 24 states), and reaching this level of success in three short years far exceeded our expectations," said Larry Middleman, CU Business Group's President/CEO. CU Business Group started with just three employees, but that staff has grown to 12, with 180 years of combined business services experience.
