Message Secure Rolls Out Secure Online Document Exchange

LOWELL, Mass. – Message Secure Corp. is now offering its credit union and community bank clients a secure online document exchange service called PrivateExpress. The managed security services specialist says the hosted service operates similarly to e-mail and offers user authentication, encryption, digital signatures, content verification and other techniques to ensure security and comply with regulations governing sensitive and personal information. PrivateExpress eliminates such unsafe practices as sensitive documents left unguarded on fax machines, the company says. "And not only does it guarantee security, it also provides a complete audit trail for every single transaction, enabling IT managers and compliance officers to document the integrity of each correspondence. It meets both technical security and regulatory compliance needs," says Paul Murray, director of operations for PrivateExpress. Message Secure (www.messagesecure.com), whose product line also includes the VSecure e-mail service, says about 20% of its client base of hundreds of financial institutions are credit unions.
