NORTHFIELD, N.J. - Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union is taking it upon itself to help raise funds for its state and federal political action committees. The $77 million credit union was looking for a creative way to raise money for the Credit Union Legislative Action Council of CUNA and the New Jersey Credit Union PAC. Jersey Shore CEO Virginia Williams said she found the answer in these little teddy bears. They come in five different colors with "Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union" on their T-shirts and "Thank you for supporting CULAC and NJCUPAC" written on their tags. "The contributions are used to support candidates who will help maintain a presence for credit unions, both large and small, in the eyes of our lawmakers," Williams said. -
