I am writing to amplify the concern expressed by another core processor (Share One, see letter from May 4th issue) regarding the accuracy of Tower Group information reprinted in the March 23 issue. AFTECH similarly was described by Tower in a manner and form that depicted our scope as limited. The data erroneously implied that AFTECH could not handle the data processing requirements of medium-sized credit unions, let alone large ones, and made no mention of AFTECH's ASP application. Currently, AFTECH provides high value core processing solutions to credit unions from $25 million to over $2 billion in assets. We have received assurances from the Tower Group that the AFTECH information will be corrected. We recognize no harm was intended and we appreciate the professional courtesy extended by all in correcting the error. Joseph Antellocy President AFTECH Malvern, Pa.
